Casual Day Fundraiser Supports State and National Financial Education Programs
Credit union organizations holding a “Financial Fitness Day” fundraiser on April 6 are encouraged to share photos of their participation on Twitter using the hashtag #FinancialFitnessDay. A winner, pulled at random, will receive a complete set of Biz Kid$ DVDs as well as 25 “Money Rules” books to leverage in their financial education efforts.
To participate in Financial Fitness Day, credit union organizations should hold a Jeans or Casual Day fundraiser for staff on April 6. This initiative will raise funds for the National Credit Union Foundation and the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation in support of their financial education initiatives.
The contest is running all day on April 6. Full rules are below. To enter:
- Follow the Foundation at @ncufoundation
- Share a picture of your staff (and/or members) celebrating Financial Fitness Day using the hashtag #FinancialFitnessDay on Twitter. Multiple entries are allowed.
The Financial Fitness Day campaign website can be found at financialfitnessday.com. Donations made as part of the initiative will be split 50/50 between the National Foundation and the Cornerstone Foundation in which the donation was made. The donations can also be made at financialfitnessday.com.
Contest runs on April 6, 2016, beginning at 12:01 a.m. (CT) and ending at 11:59 p.m. (CT). Winner will be chosen by a random number generator and will be notified. If the winner fails to respond within seven days, the first winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be chosen until we are able to confirm a contest winner. The odds of winning depend on the number of entrants received. No purchase necessary to win. Void where prohibited. Creating multiple accounts on Twitter to enter multiple times will automatically disqualify you from the contest. This competition is offered by the National Credit Union Foundation and is open to anyone with a Twitter account who is at least 18 years of age. No monetary donation necessary to enter. Individuals can also enter by emailing email@example.com with subject line “Financial Fitness Day Contest.” Employees of the Foundation and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.
Note: Photos/videos posted on the Foundation’s social media channels may be used/reproduced by the Foundation in future Financial Fitness Day promotions.
