The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is getting ready for its 5th annual Festival of Trees, which takes place from 5:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Credit Union House of Oklahoma. All Cornerstone credit unions are invited to attend the festival and to participate.
The Festival of Trees is a great opportunity to network with your peers during the holiday season, while embodying the credit union "people helping people" philosophy.
This festive event will feature live music; complimentary wine, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres; and prizes. And this year, the Foundation auction will offer 6-foot trees, 4-foot trees, wreaths, and stockings along with some other great silent auction items.
Chapters all over the Cornerstone region can support the Festival of Trees by auctioning off a tree, wreath, or stocking at their November or December Chapter Meetings in support of the Foundation.
Funds raised from the Festival of Trees will help the Foundation fulfill its mission of empowering people to improve their financial wellbeing. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting financial education programs for youth and adults, providing access to professional development for credit union staff and volunteers in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and offering financial relief for credit union staff when disaster strikes.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP online by November 15, 2015.
