Harvey Phase II Disaster Relief Process

Phase II Disaster Relief Grants are intended to assist credit union employees and volunteers with significant needs.  The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation issued an official call to all the CEOs of Phase I grant recipients via email on Friday, November 3.  

Now that we have moved into Phase II, a deadline of November 17 has been implemented for all Phase I grant applications. Additionally, the deadline for all Phase II grant applications is December 8. The CSCUF Grants Committee will convene in mid-December to review all requests. Foundation staff will notify applicants shortly thereafter with the status of their requests.

Phase II grants are available up to $5,000, but the amounts of the individual grants will be dependent on the total disaster relief funds available. We will continue our fundraising efforts for additional fund contributions over the next couple of months, through local channels as well as via CUAid.

We know that this been a very trying time on those affected and for credit unions serving in those communities. We are honored to be in the position of offering assistance in this time of need.
