Foundation Moves Festival of Trees to Dallas/Fort Worth
Thursday, September 28, 2017 7:00 AM

Twas months before the Festival of Trees
when Cornerstone credit unions were feeling a warm summer breeze.

The stockings, wreaths, and trees will be designed with care,
in hopes that, in November, you will be there.
And I heard him exclaim… We’re moving the 2017 Festival of Trees.
Won’t you join us please!

The Festival of Trees Committee, along with the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation’s Development Committee, decided to rotate the Festival of Trees between all three states to share this unique Foundation tradition with more of our regional credit unions and to keep the event fresh and vital.

The 2017 Festival of Trees will be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Special thanks to the Fort Worth and Dallas Chapters of Credit Unions for sponsoring the dinner. Mark your calendar, and RSVP for Nov. 14, 5:30–8:30 p.m., at the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum, 4601 Hwy 360 in Fort Worth (76155).

The trees will be amazing, the wreaths will be ready to hang, the dinner and spirits will be flowing, and Santa will have plenty of surprises. All we need now is you!

Funds raised through the event will help the Foundation to promote financial education programs for youth and adults, provide access to professional development for credit union staff and volunteers in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and offer financial relief for credit union staff and board members when disaster strikes.
