The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation kicked off the holiday season with its 4th annual Festival of Trees celebration and auction, raising $18,560 in net proceeds and exemplifying the credit union "people helping people" philosophy.

The event took place on Nov. 6 at the Credit Union House of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, where approximately 75 attendees benefited from opportunities to network with their peers, listen to live music, enjoy spirits and hors d'oeuvres, and win prizes.

As the 501(c)(3) public charity of the Cornerstone Credit Union League, the money raised at the Festival of Trees helps the Foundation fulfill their critical mission in the credit union movement: promoting financial education programs for youth and adults, providing access to professional development for credit union staff and volunteers, and offering financial relief for credit union staff when disaster strikes.
