Consumers Getting Financially Fit
Monday, March 31, 2014 8:00 AM

Thanks to a collaboration between the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation (Foundation) and Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS), consumers will have access to 50 financial education webinars in April. The webinars are being offered in celebration of National Financial Literacy Month.

“In order to make sound financial decisions for their families, consumers need to have access to the right information, tools and resources,” notes Courtney Moran, executive director of the Foundation. “By collaborating with CCCS, we are able to reach a broader audience.”

The 50 webinars in April kick off tomorrow, with “How to Spend Your Tax Refund.” Expense tracking, setting financial goals, couples and money, building wealth, and surviving financial crisis are but a handful of other topics to be addressed in the April webinars. A full schedule is available at www.cscuf.coop/events.html.
